7. Contact

8. Site-specific conditions

Recalls Watch is not a government website and is not affiliated with CPSC, FDA or NHTSA. It republishes public records of these agencies. The official notice linked on each page is the authoritative text.

Hazard and remedy text is copied from the agency record without rewording. Titles of FDA and NHTSA notices are composed by this site from fields of the record, because those records have no title, and each page says so.

Every page states when its data was collected. A page may be older than the agency record: before acting, open the official notice. A recall that is not listed here may still exist; meat, poultry and egg products (USDA FSIS), medical devices, cosmetics, tires, car seats and boats are not collected yet.

The vehicle and VIN lookups list the recall campaigns NHTSA publishes for a make, model and year. They do not tell whether a specific vehicle is affected or was already repaired. Only the VIN check on nhtsa.gov and the manufacturer can tell.

FDA data comes from openFDA. Do not rely on openFDA to make decisions regarding medical care. Talk to a pharmacist or doctor before stopping a medicine.

In an emergency call 911. For poisoning, call Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222.
