Questions and answers
What is in the archive?
Notices that were once on the recent list and then left it. The recent list covers about 60 days of CPSC and FDA notices and the last year of NHTSA campaigns; the pages of older notices are kept, never deleted, so that links to them keep working.
Does an archived page show current data?
No. A notice marked “Archived record” is no longer returned by the agency service we read, so its page keeps what the agency published when the collector last saw it, with that date. The agency may have updated or withdrawn the notice since: confirm on the official notice linked on the page.
How is the archive organised?
By the month in which the agency published the notice. Each month has one page listing its notices, newest first, and each notice has its own page.
